Short Information: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2023 for the Primary and Junior Level Examinations. Candidates interested in the CTET Exam July 2023 can apply online from 27 April 2023 to 26 May 2023. Application Fee:

For Single Paper:

  • General / OBC / EWS: Rs. 1000/-
  • SC / ST / PH: Rs. 500/-

For Both Paper Primary / Junior:

  • General / OBC / EWS: Rs. 1200/-
  • SC / ST / PH: Rs. 600/-

Payment Method: Examination fees can be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E-Challan.

Eligibility Criteria for CTET July 2023 Exam:

Primary Level (Class I to V) Eligibility with Code:

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • Bachelor's Degree Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). Candidates who have acquired the qualification of Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution will be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V, provided they undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE within two years of such appointment.
  • Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility with Code:

  • Bachelor's Degree and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
  • At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), following NCTE norms.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education).
  • Any candidate who has qualified the B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Additionally, according to the existing TET guidelines circulated by the NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person pursuing any of the teacher education courses specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010, recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.
  • Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

  • Visit the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
  • Look for the CTET July 2023 Exam notification and click on the apply online link.
  • Fill out the online application form from 27/04/2023 to 26/05/2023.
